Dani Comas got the third place in the last round of the UCI Trial World Cup, hold in the village of Pra Loup (France). The event was celebrated in the ski resort of this village, at the mountains. The sections were very hard and selective, the afternoon sun raised a lot, so the competition was very hard to ride.
Dani Comas played a great race but a couple of mistakes in the first round didn´t permitt him to reach the two first places of the podium.
Gemma Abant got, once again, the second place in this round. Thanks to this result and the previous, Gemma has got the silver medal in the final score, so she is the first runner up of this championship, title attached to the Biketrial World title got three weeks ago.
Mireia Abant didn´t got the usual good results she used to get. Was fifth in the competition and second runner up in the final score, thanks to all the results of this Cup. She adds this third place to the second final place got in the Biketrial World Championship.
The last great event of 2011 season is just in the corner for our riders. The UCI World Championship will be held from August, 31th to September, 4th in Champéry (Switzerland). |
