On Wednesday, October 5th, Bicicletas Monty General Manager, Ot Pí, and Gemma Abant, one of our official Biketrial riders, were awarded with one of most important awards in Spain, the Real Orden al Mérito Deportivo medal. Ot Pí was awarded because his great sportive career, with 12 World Biketrial titles, among others.
Gemma Abant has been awarded for her sportive career, still in active, with 8 World Biketrial and Trial UCI titles and for her recent Biketrial World title in Femina class, got this past summer.
The award were offered by the Infanta Dña. Cristina (one of the daughters of Juan Carlos I, king of Spain) and the main responsibles of the spanish sport. Moreover of them, was awarded the Football Spanish Team, for their World Title got in South Africa 2010, and Marc Marquez, spanish Moto2 rider and current leader of the cathegory, among all the main spanish riders have got titles in 2010.
