Yesterday Sunday was held the second round, and final, of the 2011 World Biketrial Championship in the catalan town Sant Miquel de Campmajor, where our riders, one more time, got great success. On Saturday, Abant sisters got the two first places again. Gemma got the first place again and Mireia the second one, so Gemma is the 2011 World champion in Femina class and Mireia the first runner up, adding both riders another world title to their incredible list.

Sunday race was one of the most hardest in Biketrial history. The rain, the day after, became a very technic and difficult sections in a very hard and selective ones. In Junior cathegory, Armand Mollà played a great race getting the final third place in the World Championship.

In Senior cathegory, our rider Rafa Tibau played a very good race, but a mistake in the last section of the race didn´t permitt Tibau to get the world title. However, he got the first runner up position and this is his first title in Biketrial, very meritory because he is just recovered of a very hard injury in one of his legs.

In Elite, the race was in three Monty riders: Dani Comas, Kazuki Terai and Masaya Yamamoto. Because the hard sections, the score of the riders was very high and the title was decided in the last section of the race. Dani Comas is the new Elite World champion, adding the eighth world title to his list. Kazuki Teraigot the first runner up again, after to get the world title in 2009. Masaya Yamamoto repeated the third place again, as in 2010 and now in in the leader group of riders able to get a world title in 2012.

Moreover, Monty won in Constructors cathegory, in the race as in the championship.
